Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your RateMe account and all associated data — instantly and automatically, with no app install and no waiting for us to process anything — right from your browser.

Option 1 — Instantly, from your browser (recommended)

Open ratemestar.com/go/ (the RateMe web app — works in any browser, nothing to install).
Log in with the same account (Google, or username/password).
Go to Settings > Privacy & Safety > Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and data are removed immediately — no one on our end needs to do anything.

This is the same instant deletion available in the Android app, just accessible without installing it.

Option 2 — Can't log in? Request by email

Send an email to support@ratemestar.com with the subject "Delete my RateMe account", from the email address on the account (or including your username). We process deletion requests within 7 days and will confirm by email once complete.

What gets deleted

Your profile: display name, bio, username, location, and all uploaded photos/videos.
Ratings, comments, and follows you gave or received.
Messages and encryption keys tied to your account.
Your login credentials (email/password or linked Google account).

Some records may be retained briefly where required for fraud prevention, abuse reports, or legal obligations, and then deleted. See our Privacy Policy for details.
